A consistent emphasis on growth is a must. Otherwise we tend to tell each other the same old stories and we eventually forget to listen and participate. Time and energy and priority needs to be placed on our individual growth, whether its reading, participating in groups, retreats, etc. A personal relationship and connection to the Divine. A balance and respect for where each is in the process w/o judgment.
